Can you believe it! Thirty-seven percent of you would be willingly to take a 10% pay cut to work from home. Just what are you thinking?

Ten percent is a lot of money to put on the table. Your health care costs are not going to be reduced 10%. Can you recoop that much in gas?

In another article I read, Internet service providers are seeing an increase in traffic created by work at home professionals and are already planning a pricing schema that would charge by the minute.  There goes the $29.95 a month unlimited access. What other costs have the potential to rise?

I would caution anyone thinking about taking the plunge into working from home; Know what you are getting into. What are the expectations your employer has about your at home work place, the equipment you have available, your productivity! They expect you to be available for meetings and conference calls. They expect you to work!

Re: A 10% cut in pay!

Yep some people are crazy to take that, my pay didn't change when my group decided to work more from home although the last yearly raise was a lot less so I'm sure that working from home came into play with that, which to me makes no sense as all my expenses went up by more then the raise was.
